Uzbekistan is located in the heart of Central Asia, between the Syr
Darya and Amu Darya rivers. It borders Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan,
Tajikistan, Afghanistan, and Turkmenistan. Almost two thirds of the
country are steppes and deserts, the remaining third are mountains,
valleys, and oases.
The Republic of Uzbekistan is famous for numerous architectural
monuments, incredible natural landscapes, magnificent palaces, ruins of
fortresses of past civilizations, the brightest cultural events,
culinary delights and craft workshops. Each corner of Uzbekistan
attracts with its features.
