Modern Fergana is a large industrial center with a developed economy and high culture. The city is located in the southeast of the country. It is distinguished by colonial buildings from the times of the Russian Empire with a clear layout and a pronounced center. Ferghana is not so old, and there are no such beautiful medieval buildings in it, as, for example, in Kokand. But the traditions of applied art, poetic literature, and enlightenment have been preserved here.
