Bukhara is the pearl of the East, one of the oldest and most beautiful cities located in Uzbekistan. This city
holds many secrets and legends. And this is not surprising, because it is already more than 2500 years old.
In the Middle Ages, the city was a major center of Islamic theology and culture. To this day, there are hundreds
of well-preserved buildings (mosques, madrassas, bazaars and caravanserais) erected in the period from IX to XVII
centuries. There are more than 30 mosques and 80 madrassas in this city. Bukhara, like no other city in Central
Asia, is close to the Islamic world.
